About the Origin

Nestled in the volcanic highlands of Santa Ana, El Salvador, Los Nogales benefits from rich soils, cool night temperatures, and significant diurnal shifts, ideal for developing complex coffee flavours. Santa Ana is one of El Salvador’s most respected coffee regions, producing beans with sweet fruit notes and balanced acidity due to its microclimates and elevation.

About the producer

The Salaverria family has been growing coffee for generations on the Los Nogales farm, the first property they purchased and where founder Jose Antonio Salaverria grew up among the coffee trees. Today, Jose Antonio leads operations, with Orlando Garcia managing day-to-day farm activities, and Andres (his son) overseeing quality at the family’s processing mill, Beneficio Los Cruces, a historic facility over 100 years old. Investment in modern equipment like colour sorters, driers, and anaerobic processing capacity highlights their commitment to quality and innovation.
